About the Founder:

Kerissa speaks 3 languages, has traveled to 56 countries, and has worked in five countries as a travel consultant... She is an adventurer, advanced certified scuba diver, yogini, wine aficinado and was born to travel. She has been inspired by exotic destinations and the people who share our common humanity. For the last 7 years she has been working in the medical field of neurodiagnostics. Although the career is rewarding and challenging, she still found herself consulting on travel, planning travel and travelling onward. Realizing that she had knowledge to share and an endless passion to see others experience the world, she founded Cultavida.  As a scuba diver she knows first hand the wants and needs of her clients, her favorite spot is the Caribbean waters of Roatan. As an explorer she has been on safari spanning South Africa to Zimambwe. She has hiked through Thailand, and lived in the outback of Australia. When she travels, she likes eating from street vendors, working with local guides to see obscure places, and is always interested in what the locals have to say. She is passionate about sharing the world she loves and her mission is to show her clients how precious life on Earth can be and hopefully influence our environmental impact through compassion.
